How to Delete Your Data Directly in the App
You have full control over your data at any time without needing to contact support:
- Delete Individual Receipts: Open the BillFetch app, select the receipts you wish to remove, and tap 🗑️ Delete Selected. This immediately deletes the receipt images and extracted figures from your storage.
- Wipe Entire Expense Vault: Tap Start Fresh in your Shoebox dashboard to permanently delete all uploaded bills, extracted GST records, and generated drafts.
How to Request Full Account Deletion via Email
If you wish to permanently delete your account identifier, email history, and all associated cloud data:
- Send an email to aryu@mindmaxing.in or mindmaxxxing@gmail.com.
- Subject Line:
Account Deletion Request - BillFetch - Include your registered email address or phone number.
Timeline: Account and data deletion requests are processed within 24 to 48 hours.
Data Retention & Deletion Scope
Data Deleted Permanently: All receipt image files, merchant names, transaction dates, calculated GST numbers, subtotal/total figures, and user authentication tokens.
Data Retained for Legal Compliance: Financial transaction identifiers processed by Razorpay are retained strictly for tax and statutory accounting compliance under applicable Indian laws for the legally mandated period.
