1. Information We Collect
BillFetch collects receipt photos, invoice files, and data extracted directly from uploaded billing documents solely to generate expense reimbursement reports.
- Photos & Documents: Uploaded paper bill photos, receipt camera captures, and PDF invoices.
- Financial & Purchase History: Merchant/vendor names (e.g. Uber, Swiggy, hotels, fuel stations), purchase amounts, transaction dates, CGST, SGST, IGST tax breakdowns, and 15-digit GSTINs.
- Personal Info (from Invoices): Customer name, billing address, or phone number if explicitly printed on uploaded commercial invoices or airline/hotel tickets.
- Account & Contact: Email address for login authentication and support communications.
- Payment Information: Report generation fees (flat ₹50) are processed externally and securely via Razorpay Payment Gateway. We do not store credit card numbers or banking passwords.
2. Purpose and Use of Information
Your data is used for:
- Extracting line items and calculating GST totals for corporate reimbursement reports.
- Generating downloadable Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheets with automated mathematical formulas.
- Enabling users to organize and manage expense receipts in their private vault.
- Providing spending analytics and category breakdowns to help users track and manage business expenses.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
BillFetch does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with essential service providers: Supabase (database hosting), Google Gemini (OCR processing), and Razorpay (payment processing). All transmissions are encrypted in transit via SSL/HTTPS.
4. User Data Deletion Rights
Users can delete individual receipts or wipe their entire expense vault directly in the app at any time via the Delete Selected or Start Fresh features. Permanent account deletion can also be requested via our Data Deletion Request Page or by emailing support.
